Difficulties faced by Inflex before using Engeman®

The use of technology in maintenance management can be a very effective tool to improve operational processes and reduce costs.

According to Yussef, Inflex had difficulties such as the lack of system resources for better management of the team’s lead time in the various types of asset maintenance“.

Working with tools that are not specialists can make your management not have that distinguished look or not have crucial tools for your decision-making.

Another difficulty cited, this time by Delvani, was that “before Engeman®, asset maintenance was done through an ERP tool, which was not centered on maintenance”.

Delvani told us that after consulting other software on the market, and also with another company known as Inflex, they opted for Engeman®.

With the production monitoring system integrated with Engeman®, the cumulative collection became automatic, so we performed a study of periodic to cumulative maintenance equivalence. With this estimated, we reduce the incidence of unnecessary preventive maintenance, in addition to better control of the planning for carrying them out“, reported Yussef.

Yussef continued: “according to the downtime notes in the company’s ERP, we had a 51.8% drop in machine downtime for corrective maintenance reasons compared to 2020. Reduction coming from focused and assertive maintenance“.

Regarding predictive/condition maintenance on equipment, Engeman® also helped Inflex to change its results.

Recently, the company integrated preventive maintenance using plans based on autonomous cumulative collection. With this, we free up the team’s time to perform predictive maintenance. The first thermographic analysis plan was launched for the analysis of electrical panels, acting in parallel with preventive maintenance,” said Yussef.
